DJAKARTA

Many people said it’s a city with a million opportunities. A city where many people come and bring their wishes and dreams. A city who has given so much pleasure to many people, but also give much difficulties for others. People said it’s not easy to survive in this city. The occupant only care about their interest. And the traffic?? Ouw it’s crazy...

Well, thanks God this city is not that cruel to me. I’m not trying to be cocky here (lol), but I feel so blessed. I rarely trapped in a traffic during working hours, even it’s because I live so close to my office, seldom got quite far client to visit, and I went home when almost all people has comfortly lied down in their bed. I didn’t have to compete with the other occupant to catch the bus. I only need to walk to the office from my boarding house. And when I have to visit the client, I easily charge the taxi to my office expenses :)

Everything’s changed when I move to the other side of this city. I work in a new place, stay in a new place, spend my day in a new place. I can not walk to my office anymore! Sometimes I’m facing difficulties when I should visit the client since the place is too far for walk and too close for taxi. Aaaarrggghh... Now I have some new good friends. They are Kopaja, Kopaja and Kopaja! It’s cost me only IDR 2,500, almost 10x cheaper compared if I’m using taxi. Before, I so confused why so many people in this city crazy for having their own car.. It makes the traffic getting worse, right? But now I understand completely. I also consider the same thing now... Ugghhh...
However, the longer you live in this city, the more you’ll love it. You may always said that you do not like this city, you hate the traffic, you hate the crowd. But in the end you’ll realise, you have adapted your self so much to be fit in. Now admit it, your life is pretty much looked like this city.
